- 4 T butter
- 2 T flour
- 1 1/2 c low sodium broth
- 1 T heavy cream
- salt & pepper to taste
- Melt the butter in a saucepan.
- Whisk in the flour until it’s smooth.
- Add the broth and stir. Cook until thickened.
- Add the cream and seasonings, serve.
