For the bread
  1. 1 cup + 2 Tbsp warm water
  2. 1 1/2 tsp instant yeast
  3. 2 Tbsp sugar
  4. 3 Tbsp butter, melted
  5. 1 Tbsp parmesan cheese
  6. 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
  7. 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  8. 1 3/4 tsp salt
  9. 2 c bread flour
  10. 1 c whole wheat bread flour
To brush on top
  1. 3 Tbsp butter, melted
  2. 1/2 tsp salt
  3. 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  4. 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients and only 2 of the 3 cups of flour to your mixer.
  2. Once the ingredients are combined, slowly add the third cup of flour as the mixer is on.
  3. When the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl and looks smooth, stop mixing.
  4. Put dough into a greased bowl and let it rise until doubled in size, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Remove dough from bowl and cut into 24 equal pieces.
  6. Roll into a log about 7 inches long, tie into a knot.
  7. Place onto a greased pan with about 1/2 inch of space between each knot.
  8. Let is rise again for about an hour.
  9. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes, until the tops are a light golden brown.
  10. Brush butter and herb mixture on baked knots.
